What a day!

Today was an interesting day. It started relatively slow with brunch over The Apartment at KLCC where Ross and I met up with Jason. After coffee at Starbucks we took the train out to Chinatown to show Jason around then onto Low Yat for a bit of shopping. It absolutely poured down so we had to brave the rain as we were walking. Ross and Jason were soaked. I had an umbrella :-)

By this time it was 6pm so we decided to head to the Bavarian Beirhaus for dinner and a cold beer after all our walking. Brian joined us an we sat there for hours drinking beers and yacking. Before we knew it, it was after midnight and therefore Ross' birthday! The bartenders bought us a round of Jaigermeister shots just to help us on our way (actually, I think they were hoping that this would get rid of us as we were the last ones there and they wanted to close!).

On our walk home, we realised that they had shut the road and that a film crew was set up. We had stumbled into a scene for the movie "KL Drift II". So we stood of the footpath with the rest of the crowd and watch as two hotted up cars drove down the road and T-boned each other! It was quite impressive. We then watched the shot on the director's replay. The yellow car was completely side-swiped - pretty cool!

As we turned the corner, the police had their bikes blocking the road so I asked one if I could take a photo of Ross sitting on his bike because it was his birthday. As you can see from the photo, he let us which was nice. We continued the walk home. Brian went off to bed and Jason came up for a nightcap before heading back to his hotel. A very random day :-)
