Have tickets... will travel

Well, despite waking up at a reasonable hour (8.30am) and getting ready to go to the gym, I couldn't work up the motivation to get there until just before 11. I phaffed about copying DVDs, watching the Asian Food Channel and eating breakfast. However, I did get there eventually :-)

My workout was followed by some more DVD copying and lunch. I then forced myself off the couch and head to the Pavillion to pick up Ross' birthday present and do some food shopping.

To my surprise, when I got back, Qatar Airways actually rang me to say that I could get on a flight and that my tickets were ready. But of course, I had to pay an extra US$25 to reauthorise my tickets. I headed back down to the car to brave the KL traffic to get to the office before closing time otherwise they would cancel them again.

I did pretty well at figuring out which roads to take given that most are one way. Once at Qatar Airways, they informed me that I would need to pay the fee today so that Doha could approve the tickets and come back tomorrow to pay the taxes. That would be three trips to get my tickets - I don't think so! I paid for everything and was told that my tickets would be emailed to me. Insha'allah!

Anyway, not much else happened today - watched American Idol, cooked chicken with tomato and mint salsa, more DVD copying and now I am watching a really bad movie, Bride and Prejudice. The photo is of my DVD copying set-up on the couch. I didn't want to sit in the office for hours on end so I moved everything into the lounge.
