First day in Shanghai

I woke up around 8am this morning, got out of bed, had some breakfast, checked some emails and by about 10am I was sleepy again! I had another nap until about 12 before thinking I really should get out and do something today.

I walked across the road from Glynis and Kevin's place to the Dragonfly Spa and booked myself in for a half hour shoulder, neck and head massage and a 1 hour foot massage - it was heaven!! It was just what I needed as I think all the travel recently has caught up with me. (That and a few night's out interpretive dancing!).

After the massage, I walked around the shops for a while before heading to Starbucks to pick up a coffee and head home for lunch. I realaxed and watched a bit of TV before thinking that I really should head to the gym as it had been several days.

I got changed into my gym gear, procrastinated some more and was still sitting on the couch when Kevin got home at 5pm! I forced myself to get up and ran for 25 minutes or so which actually felt really good.

Glynis and I headed across the road to Slice for dinner - pumpkin and goat's cheese lasagna for me and beef pie with mash potato for G. Meanwhile Kevin headed off to Mandarin lessons. After dinner we headed home with a caramel slice in hand to have with a cup of tea as we planned what I would get up to tomorrow.
