A slow but productive day

Today started a little slowly from the night before. Ross and I stayed in bed until about 10am before thinking about getting up and having some breakfast. We pottered around the house for a few hours, doing this and that, until the afternoon was upon us.

We had a phone conference with our financial advisor at 1pm. It was good to talk to Stephen who we haven't met since he took over the business from Peter. We talked through the numbers of our investments and made some plans to meet up in December and to reevaluate things then.

From there, we headed to the pool. We had to blow up the sun loungers first so we dug out the air compressor and headed down to the car to use the 12V connector to blow up the lounger. It took about 20 minutes! Luckily the sun was still out when we got to the pool and we were the only ones down there which was nice. We took turns lazing about on the lounger and getting some sun until the clouds came over about 4pm.

After showers, we drove to Great Eastern Mall to try and get a shirt so that Ross can where a bowtie to these bals coming up. We went to a tailor who will make a shirt for him by next Thursday, the day before the first ball.

We did a bit of shopping and picked up more kitty litter before going to KLCC to drop off my new dress to have the ribbons removed around the waist and pick up a couple of extra things from Isetan including sushi for dinner.

We spent the night watching AFL. The photo is of 'The Oval' which now has coloured lights on both towers that change colours.
