Quite a busy day!

This morning started early with me meeting Sonja downstairs at 7.15am to head out to FRIM. Julia couldn't join us today as she had something on at Lewis' school. Sonja and I dragged ourselves up the hill and back down again. Even though we have been doing this for a few weeks now, it really doesn't seem to be getting easier!

We met up with Julia at Bangsar Shopping Complex (BSC) for breakfast at Dome. From there, Julia took us to a couple of nifty little furniture shops in Mont Kiara. We stopped in at a great little cafe called Providore where Sonja and I shared a slice of apple strudel with icecream for lunch (well, we felt justified after all that sweating!). The cafe is owned by a couple of Australians and they have the apple strudel flown over from a Hungarian lady in Melbourne - and it was amazing!

We left Julia and headed home where I took a shower (finally!) and made some mini orange and carrot muffins (see photo) to take to Sonja's place for dessert. I dressed them up a bit as it was Emma and Maddy's birthdays over the past couple of weeks. I had invited myself to dinner because Ross was out for work. Also, I needed someone to watch American Idol with!
