Just like I'm on holiday!

Today I realised how great it is to have friends come and visit because I get to "pretend" I'm on holidays with them! For example, today we began by going out for breakfast followed by the Fish Spa. As you can see from the photo, Phil found it pretty ticklish; Sondra wouldn't even come near the tanks! (She had a completely irrational fear of small fish :-)).

We followed the fish spa with a 30 min foot massage and a 10 min neck and shoulder massage - a great way to start the day. From there, we wandered around Pavillion looking at some of the shops before heading to Starbucks for a coffee. We sat there for a while watching the world go by before wandering the shops some more.

Before heading home, we ducked into La Bodega for a salad and mojito; yet another great example of why it's great to have friends visit - it makes it OK to have a drink with lunch :-).

The sun was definitely out for our walk home so we were pretty hot and sticky by the time we got there. We decided to mix up a jug of mojitos and head down to the pool for a bit of a swim and some relaxation. I actually swam about 20 laps as my body was pretty tight and I thought that a bit of a swim may help (which it did). Phil and I helped Sondra with her crossword while we stood in the pool sipping our cocktails as the clouds built up.

By about 5pm we were starting to get a bit cool so we headed back upstairs in time to meet Ross coming home from work. We sat on the balcony for a while before heading out for dinner at the Mexican restaurant at Pavillion. Of course we had to have a margarita with our dinner.

We came home and watched Kenny which Sondra and Phil hadn't seen. A great laugh!
