A pretty typical expat day

I met Sonja downstairs at 7.30 this morning and we drove to Lake Titiwangsa to go for a walk. We did two laps around the whole complex which took us about an hour. It was a nice cool morning and the towers were covered in cloud as we walked around.

From there, we drove to KLCC and had a lazy breakfast at Dome before heading home. I spent the rest of the morning fiddling with iTunes and finally synchronizing the iPod Video. Ross came home just after 12 for lunch. I caught up with him quickly before heading downstairs to meet Julia so we could walk over to Pavilion.

We stopped for some lunch at La Bodega which was accompanied by a couple of glasses of wine. Just before 2, we walked over to Starhill Gallery for our facial appointments at Kanebo. The facial was good as always but the therapist I had today was not as good as those I have had in the past. I think she forgot about me for quite a while and then quickly came in and finished off the facial.

I had bought Julia a voucher for her birthday and when I met up with her again at around 4, she was very relaxed and said that she had enjoyed it. Phil was nice enough to pick us up at the Prince Hotel and they dropped me off before heading home themselves.

So the day was definitely spent being a lady of leisure!

Ross came home and we both spent the evening on the couch; Ross working and me playing round after round of Bejeweled on the iTouch.
