He dropped off his bags and we headed out to find some lunch. We ended up at Dome at Paragon. After lunch we walked back to the apartment and spent the afternoon relaxing, watching sport and also we both had a nap.
About 4, we decided we should probably get up. We watched some more sport before getting hungry about 6 when we made pizza again. It was just as good as last time! We watched the Brisbane - Western Bulldogs match - a good game. After sitting on our butts for so long, we decided to get out of the apartment and go and find some dessert. We walked to Centerpoint and tried the Coffee Connoisseur, a local coffee chain that we hadn't tried yet. The range of desserts and coffees that they had was amazing! Coffees with liquers, frappe coffees, iced coffees, a huge amount of teas and all the standard coffees too. We looked at the desserts which also looked good but we both decided to try the fancy drinks. I had a mint chocolate frappe and Ross had the Baileys Surprise - coffee, Baileys and mint. They were both amazing and were definitely better than dessert! (Just as a note, my drink was worth 9 points on Weight Watchers! Yikes!).
From Centerpoint, we walked up to ION. By the time we got there, a lot of the shops were closing but we did have a look at this one shop with all of these unusual gifts from Europe. Model planes, globes of the world, designer pens and other stationary items. It was pretty cool. We also managed to duck into Fossil to look for a wallet for Ross. The one I bought him from Chinatown for Christmas last year is definitely on its last legs and is falling to bits. We didn't find anything that really grabbed Ross' fancy so we slowly walked back along Orchard Road soaking up the atmosphere of the buskers and the huge amounts of people out walking in the beautiful weather.
We got back to the apartment about 11 and pretty much headed straight to bed. It's good to have Ross here in Singapore! Today's photo is of our apartment.
