First day in Aus!

After flying from KL to Melbourne, we met up with Dee our friend that I worked with in Kuwait. She is now a Cabin Supervisor on Virgin Blue. We flew on her flight to Hobart and it was a hoot! However, although the couple of free beers were appreciated, they didn't sit so well as we came in for a rough landing! Perhaps Dee's joke on the PA about the pilots being there for work experience wasn't far wrong!

Once in Hobart, Ross and I checked into the Somerset on the Pier for a few days R & R by ourselves. After some awesome fish and chips, we were pretty much finished after a long day travelling.
