Photography and friends

This morning Dad and I went into the SA Museum to have a look at a new nature and wildlife photography exhibition that had just opened. The photos were amazing and ranged from landscapes to potraits of animals. There was also a section for photographers under the age of 18 which included one of my favourite photos of a multi-coloured starfish with ripples on the water. It was a beautiful shot.

From there we walked into the mall and had a coffee before heading to JB Hi-Fi to get Dad an FM transmitter for his new iPod. We wandered around a bit longer before heading home. I dropped Dad off and headed over to my friend Donna's place for lunch.

Although I had seen them all in February, I was suprised how big Timmy and Annabelle were now! For 10 years old they are huge - up to my shoulders. It was great to see little Patrick again too who will be turning one in a couple of weeks. We spent the afternoon catching up and playing with Patrick before I headed home about 3.30.

On the way home I dropped off the questionnaire to the naturopath that she had asked me to fill out. Back at home, I spent the afternoon reading my book and actually had a bit of a nap. I think the detox diet is giving me less energy at the moment. Dad and I didn't do too much in the evening - watched some TV and had some dinner. Soon I was too tired and headed to bed.

I chatted with Sonja about 10pm. Brian had been transferred to Prince Court and had also had the breathing tube removed. She was really happy that he was doing better and now they were waiting for another cat scan to be done on Saturday to see what they need to do for his recovery. They did say that they would expect him to make a full recovery - great news!!
