Getting on top of things again

This morning, I finally unpacked my suitcase. I sorted out all the laundry and then had a blitz on the bedroom and bathroom completely tidying things up and chucking stuff out. I also managed to get downstairs in time to do some shopping at the grocery van.

Before I knew it, it was lunchtime. After lunch, I started on the computers, updating them with Norton 360 and running any Windows updates that were needed. Daisy and her girls came in to clean the apartment. It was good to see Daisy again after so long. She has now left Butlers and Groomers and started up her own business.

I messed about some more in the afternoon before giving Sonja a ring and going over to her place. I had some old nail polishes and a curling iron that I thought Maddie might like and also some gifts that I had bought them from Aus. Brian's mum Vicki was there also.

Back at home, I waited for Ross and we cooked up salmon and grilled veg for dinner. We played backgammon on the balcony for a while before heading to bed.

Tonight's photo is of the "Oval" across the road. I took it during the storm that we had tonight so the sky was lit up by lightning.
