A dry run

Well, I didn't really achieve much today. I spent the morning phaffing about the house until lunch when Ross came home. I did however manage to book some concert tickets to Aimee Mann in Singapore for Ross and I and also organize an engagement present for my friend Cassie and her fiance Dan.

Ross and I enjoyed the leftovers from our banana leaf dinner on Saturday night and then he headed back to work. I did a couple more things on the computer before finally making a move. I wanted to go and find out where Bedazzled, the place where I will be starting beading classes on Wednesday. I set up the GPS with the address and off I went.

I drove for about an hour and half before I finally found it. Out in Petaling Jaya (PJ), the names of the streets are all numbers and very rarely in sequence so it is a nightmare. Even the GPS was playing up. I drove half way back to town before resetting the GPS and trying again, this time it worked and after some walking around, I finally found the place.

I spoke with Hesther who would be my instructor. She took me through the things that we would be doing each week and explained a few of the other courses. I had a look around at some of the items that they had for sale before leaving. I'm excited to start on Wednesday!

On the way home, I stopped in at Pavilion to buy some groceries before heading home. Ross stepped out of the other lift 2 seconds after I stepped out of mine.

Tonight, Ross was the chef and I was his helper. He made pizzas with ham, capsicum, onion, zucchini, fresh parsley (from the herb garden :-)) and egg (see photo). This was the first time we had cooked eggs of pizzas so we cooked the pizza for a couple of minutes first then cracked the egg on top to stop it from running off completely. 15 minutes later and it was divine!

We spent the rest of the evening finishing the first season of Californication. What a great show. At 10 we had to call time although it was hard not to watch the first episode of the next season.
