100 year heatwave record broken

Despite the forecasts of slightly cooler weather, today was another one over 40 today. This gives Adelaide the longest run of over 40 degree days since 1908. What a time to be visiting! Actually, it is really a worry with many heat-related deaths in Adelaide and also an arson attack in Melbourne yesterday.

After a slow start to the morning (thanks to that last glass of dessert wine last night!) I headed to David and Donna's place today to get out of the house. This time I remembered to take photos as you can see from Patrick's quirky smile above! :-)

It was nice just to relax, chat with Dave, Donna, Annabelle and Timmy and get to know little Patrick a bit more.
