Getting serious about designs

This morning I got up reasonably early and did a few bits and pieces around the apartment. I finally fixed the curtains in our bedroom and also did a bit of "gardening" on the pots on the balcony. I rotated all the plants, cut off the dead leaves and pulled out the weeds as well as put some of the bigger pots on rollers so they could be moved around easily. About 9.30, I drove out to Great Eastern mall and did a bit of food shopping before heading home again.

I started doing some beading - trying to recreate a design I saw in Isetan. I managed to do it but it just wasn't sitting right so I left it and made myself a smoked salmon, Camembert and tomato pizza for lunch. After lunch, I got back to beading and spent some time researching new designs on the internet. I did some sketches and then tried out a few new designs. I spent hours fiddling and trying new things but I was happy with the results.

I made myself a smoked salmon and cream pasta for dinner (I had a lot of smoked salmon left after the morning tea!) and then did a bit more beading before heading to bed.
